This highly respected market leader within the convenience and wholesale sector is seeking an accomplished Trading Director to lead the business through its next phase of exciting growth and transformation.
Reporting to the Executive Board, the Trading Director will assume full responsibility for leading the buying function, developing, and implementing robust category strategies, and delivering stretching commercial growth targets. A key focus of the role will be to strengthen strategic partnerships with major suppliers and to conduct comprehensive financial evaluations of sales performance, contribution, and margin across key initiatives.
The successful candidate will bring proven trading experience across one or more product categories, gained within the food retail or wholesale sector, combined with strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a results-driven approach.
