What is virtual coaching?
If the coronavirus pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that we don’t always need to be in the same room, office or even country to connect with people and maintain productive relationships.
Our Virtual Coaching carries all the hallmarks of our regular Executive Coaching but is carried out remotely via a video conferencing service such as Zoom or Teams.
Our Executive Coaches help identify an individual’s strengths and key areas for development and create bespoke plans to harness their skills, improve their weaknesses and unleash their potential.
Our collaborative, creative coaching is tailored to the specific individual and business need. We work with clients to understand your expectations for the coaching programme. We then develop bespoke plans that align with the objectives of all stakeholders and deliver the desired results for the organisation.
Through 1-2-1 sessions with our Executive Coaches we create a strong and trusting partnership that builds personal confidence and provides individuals with the tools and techniques they need to master their personal and professional challenges.
What are the benefits of virtual coaching?
Virtual coaching is a convenient, effective solution for people who lack the ability to meet regularly in person with an Executive Coach.
If work is too busy or family time too precious then Virtual Coaching provides an ideal solution to fit your personal and professional development into your daily routine. It also creates the opportunity for team members who work across the country or even overseas to benefit from the same coaching as fellow executives within your organisation.
Benefits of Virtual Coaching:
• A challenging but supportive coaching environment which encourages self-learning
• The ability for senior executives to discover and develop their own authentic leadership style
• Tools and techniques that can be used to remove blockers to personal and professional development
• The confidence to inspire and motivate teams and build productive working relationships
• No travel is necessary, all you need is a laptop and a connection to the internet.
How AGP conducts virtual coaching:
Whether face-to-face or virtual, our coaching process is the same. We begin with a complimentary discovery session prior to any coaching, to explore how you and your coach might work together.
Our programmes are flexible, however we suggest a minimum of four sessions is then required to put executives firmly on the path to sustained self-improvement.
A session normally lasts for two hours. We think of the process in terms of a two-way conversation during which our coach will ask powerful questions and challenge current thinking, feelings or behaviours in a safe and confidential space. Our carefully curated questions help you self-identify your own solutions, so you instinctively know the actions you need to take to improve your performance.
Flexibility is key and our coaches will make themselves available to ensure clients achieve their desired goals, in their given timeframes. Virtual coaching is the perfect fit in these circumstances since it is not constrained by regular working hours.
Our clients trust us to find the right person at the first time of asking
I would recommend Tony in a heartbeat.
Tony has a wide network across the UK retail market and knows what’s going on across sectors. Tony is able to match his clients to candidates in smart partnerships with close consideration of cultural fit, which is very rare in my experience.
As a candidate, Tony always kept me updated on the progress of any project and then remained in touch throughout the assignment, providing valuable executive support and advice.
I am always grateful that Tony picks up the phone to me frequently with such interesting opportunities
Following a change in career direction, I was fortunate enough to work with Tony in some 1:1 coaching sessions. Tony’s style of coaching is excellent – he builds rapport easily and asks probing, perceptive questions that enabled me to clarify my thought processes.
His challenging but empathetic style really delivered for me. He encouraged me to self-reflect and recognise my underlying concerns. Once I had this clarity, he really helped me to identify and evaluate potential options and alternatives.
I came away from our coaching sessions with real insight into my concerns and a clear action plan to make the positive changes I needed.
I have known Tony for some time both as a client and candidate and he never fails to impress. He quickly and efficiently understands the brief and then delivers strong candidates who have the necessary skills and expertise.
Tony invests time in both his clients and his candidates even when there is nothing specific to discuss. This is what makes him a great search specialist: he is approachable, engaging, warm and incredibly well-networked.
