Responsible for establishing and implementing financial strategy, successful Financial Directors will be able to adeptly communicate complex financial information.
They will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and planning, so will be able to offer insights and recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
They will be expected to liaise with CEOs and COOs, whilst working closely alongside senior leadership teams. As such, they will bring strong strategic and communication skills to their role.
As well as established experience in financial leadership and strategy, successful Financial Directors will be strong decision makers who promote innovation and resourcefulness within a business. They will be responsible for ensuring all financial processes comply with law and regulations, and as a result will have high ethical standards, taking steps to promote these standards within an organisations’ culture to ensure best practice.
